About the Coach
Sofía Chang
Here to support you on your growth journey.

As a health and life coach, I love empowering individuals to navigate challenges, embrace change, and confidently transform their lives.
My life has been a journey of continuous transformation, giving me a profound understanding of how to navigate challenges and transitions to become the best version of ourselves.
About My Journey…
I was born in Peru and grew up through change. At the age of 16, I moved to Chile in search of a safer future and university education. Over the years, I have lived in seven cities across three countries, learning to adapt, grow, and reinvent myself at every stage.
My journey into coaching began in my twenties when, while earning my degree in engineering, I discovered the power of coaching through Fundación Mercator, led by Dr. Fernando Flores L., where I received training in “Conversations For Action.” Later, I further trained in Communication, Positive Intelligence, and earned coaching certifications from Wainwright Global, the Health Coach Institute, and the Harvard Division of Continuing Education.
A turning point in my career came during a class at Harvard on Leadership and Coaching, where I realized that some of the material we were studying was deeply connected to the work of the Chilean Fernando Flores. In that class, I had an “AHA!” moment that helped me see the full circle of my life’s journey up to that point, confirming that coaching is my true calling.
My journey hasn’t been without challenges—from an express kidnapping to personal and professional setbacks—however, resilience and optimism have been my driving force. I have learned to embrace adversity, start anew, and find strength in vulnerability. After leaving a career in the Chilean Ministry of Economy, I shifted my focus to family and personal growth.
In 2019, I moved to Golden, Colorado, USA, where I enjoy life surrounded by nature and outdoor activities with my husband and three children.
I love reading, writing, journaling, walking with my dog, listening to and contemplating the ocean, stargazing, and traveling. I especially enjoy camping with my family in our RV during the summer. On our camping adventures, we have visited 47 out of the 50 U.S. states and many of its national parks, as well as some in Canada. I have an unBEARable love for bears and I truly enjoy watching them in their natural habitat.
As a life coach, I love helping others overcome obstacles, take bold steps forward, and build the life they truly desire.

My Philosophy…
I believe that reinvention and following our inner calling are not only possible, but essential for living a fulfilling life.
Each experience we have, no matter how separate it may seem, contributes to our growth and shapes a better version of ourselves.
I’m dedicated to empowering others to unlock their transformative potential, create authentic lives, and cultivate emotional depth and conscious presence, fostering a profound connection with themselves and the world.
I Value...
Freedom allows me to live on my own terms, unshackled by fear or societal expectations.
Love is the foundation of meaningful relationships, starting with self-love and radiating outward.
Connection reminds me that we thrive through relationships, shared experiences, and deep bonds.
Empathy enables true understanding, fostering kindness and unity in a world that often feels disconnected.
Joy is not just an emotion but a way of being—finding fulfillment in the simple and profound.
Presence is the key to experiencing life fully, appreciating each moment rather than dwelling in the past or future.
